Vertical Design for Better Cooling

The SilverStone SST-FT03 sets itself apart from conventional PC cases with its unique vertical layout, known as the “chimney effect” design. Instead of air flowing horizontally through the case, cool air is drawn in at the bottom, warms as it passes over the components, and then naturally rises due to gravity, where it’s expelled through a top fan or passive vents. This design is highly efficient and ensures that even powerful components remain cool in a compact space.

Minimalist and Elegant Build

The case impresses with its sleek, minimalist design, featuring a high-quality, brushed aluminum exterior shell. All ports and cables are located at the top, leaving three sides of the case free of distracting cables and allowing it to blend seamlessly into any environment. The FT03 combines style with function, offering room for a variety of components, including large graphics cards, without compromising on aesthetics.

Space Management and Component Support

Despite its small footprint, the FT03 provides a surprising amount of internal space for hardware. It’s compatible with Micro-ATX, Mini-DTX, and Mini-ITX motherboards and can accommodate graphics cards up to 348 mm long, allowing for the installation of high-end GPUs. The internal layout is well-thought-out, with a dedicated PSU compartment at the bottom that helps keep the interior tidy.
