Its ergonomic design and thumb rest provide long-lasting comfort for gamers who prefer a “palm grip.” Its weight of approximately 112 g places it in the heavier mouse category, which is ideal for control and stability across various game genres but may not be best suited for fast-paced, competitive FPS games.

At the heart of the Basilisk V3 Pro is the ultra-precise **Razer Focus Pro 35K Optical Sensor**, which offers flawless accuracy. The mouse operates at a standard 1000 Hz polling rate, but this can be increased to 8000 Hz with the purchase of the HyperPolling Dongle for an exceptionally fast and responsive performance. With **11 programmable buttons**, this mouse also offers incredible flexibility for customization. The buttons can be configured through the Razer Synapse software, and the HyperShift feature allows for a secondary function to be assigned to each button, making it very useful for MMO games or creative applications.
