OpenAudio™ Technology and Sound

At the heart of the Bose Frames Tempo is the proprietary OpenAudio™ technology. Two specially designed speakers are discreetly built into the temples and direct sound straight to your ears without disturbing others. The sound is loud and clear enough to be heard well even with wind noise, such as when cycling at high speeds. Compared to traditional audio glasses, the Tempo offers a deeper and more powerful sound. Because your ears remain uncovered, you avoid a feeling of isolation, which is a huge advantage, especially during sports.

Design for Athletes

The frame of the glasses is made from lightweight, aerodynamic TR-90 nylon, a material known for its durability and flexibility. The glasses are designed to sit securely and comfortably even during intense movements. The included soft silicone nosepads in three different sizes allow for individual adjustment to your face shape, further increasing comfort. The lenses are made of shatter- and scratch-resistant polycarbonate, are polarized, and offer up to 99% protection against UVA and UVB rays. If needed, the lenses can be quickly and easily swapped out for other sport or prescription lenses.

Long Battery Life and Easy Operation

With a battery life of up to 8 hours, the Bose Frames Tempo can accompany you through long training sessions or extended day trips. They are charged via an included USB-C cable. Intuitive control is managed through touch panels on the temples for volume adjustment and a multi-function button for controlling music, calls, and your voice assistant. An integrated dual-microphone system also ensures excellent call quality by effectively suppressing background noise.
